Debbie Crosby-Butler IIHHT MIFA MIFR
Debbie qualified as a registered nurse in 1981. After experiencing many changes in the health industry, she became increasingly disillusioned with the service she was able to provide. She retrained in complementary therapies to achieve a more holistic approach to healthcare and well being, and qualified in 1999. She is a member of the International Federation of Reflexology and the International Federation of Aromatherapists, and now teaches reflexology for Kent Adult Education Services. After providing highly individualized treatments to clients in their homes and rented rooms, Debbie opened her own treatment rooms in 2005. Debbie is a fully qualified practitioner who undertakes regular professional development training. She has a full professional indemnity insurance and holds a current first aid certificate. Debbie is dedicated to the highest levels of client care and confidentiality.

Samantha Harrison MICHT
Samantha originally studied hairdressing and beauty therapy and worked as a self-employed hair stylist for two years. Her training in this field included some massage which she particularly enjoyed, and this led her to think about studying holistic therapies. After attending some Adult Education classes she was sure this was the path she wished to follow and immediately applied to Canterbury College. Since completing her two year training in holistic therapies in 2006, Samantha has worked as a therapist at Soul Solutions. She is a member of the International Council of Holistic Therapists and insured by the Federation of Holistic Therapists. Pauline Lilford IHBC
Pauline qualified as a Beauty Therapist and Hairdresser in 1981 after studying a three-year course at Thanet College. The course encompassed all aspects of Beauty Treatment including Electrolysis, Swedish Body Massage, Cosmetic Camouflage and the different areas of Hairdressing including wig making. Following this she gained extensive experience in several local salons after which she began her own mobile business, recognising the need of people who wanted treatments in their own homes. Included in this was a weekly visit to the patients of the Whitstable and Tankerton hospital. This assortment of mobile treatments ranged from everyday beauty needs, right through to wedding preparation for the Bride and Bridal party, leading up to and including the big day. After joining Soul Solutions in 2006, Pauline now offers a variety of beauty treatments working both independently and alongside the other therapists to bring a tailor made service for each client. Pauline is a fully insured member of the Independent Professional Therapists International (IPTI).

Claudia Benson MSTAT
Claudia started having lessons in Alexander Technique in 1977 out of curiosity, which resulted in her decision to train as a teacher. After three years training she qualified from the Alexander Technique Training Centre in Totnes, Devon and was admitted to Membership of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique in 1986. She has taught in Devon, Glasgow, London and Faversham, and is currently teaching at Soul Solutions.

Monique Boorman Dip.
Has been working within the health and fitness industry for 8 years and still enjoys playing and coaching hockey for the Herne By Hockey Club. Monique gained her National Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy in 2004 and has since worked with a wide range of clients helping them with their individual injuries and discomforts. She joined Soul Solutions in 2009 providing Sports and Remedial massage treatments. She is a fully insured therapist.

Samantha Clark
Samantha qualified in Swedish massage level three VTCT at Canterbury College in 2006, and began working at various functions across the UK relaxing artists before they performed. In 2008 she qualified in Indian head massage(CMA registered)and in January 2009 gained a practitioners diploma in hot stone massage. Samantha started working as a therapist at an osteopathic and sports injury clinic, were she developed a keen interest in sports injury and treating everyday muscle problems. This led her to begin studying towards a qualification in sports massage. Samantha also regularly practices at a yoga retreat in Canterbury and so is used to working in many different environments. Whilst training in various therapies Samantha had a child and developed a keen interest in pregnancy and birth. She trained with nurturing birth as a birth and post natal Doula and hopes to study pregnancy massage very shortly. Samantha now offers Hot stone massage, Indian head massage and Swedish massage at soul solutions.

Eve Cummins BSc (Hons).DIP HYP CS, LHS.
Eve has joined Soul Solutions as a hypnotherapist. A long standing interest in psychology and the effects of the mind on behaviour and well-being led her to study for a diploma in hypnotherapy and counselling skills. Eve is an accredited, fully qualified hypnotherapist and a Licentiate member of the Hypnotherapy Society and as such adheres to the Society’s Code of Practice, guidelines and ethical standards. She has full professional indemnity insurance. Eve helps clients bring about positive changes to improve their lives.

Katie Vautier BSc ITEC
Katie qualified in 2004 with a degree in Dietetics. She started working within the NHS, including working on surgical, medical and orthopaedic wards plus regular out-patient clinics. She moved to East Kent in 2007 to work as a specialised community dietician within the NHS. Katie was interested to see how some of the health conditions she was regularly seeing could be helped through alternative therapies. This interest led her to study and qualify as a reflexology practitioner in 2008. Katie provides dietary consultations and reflexology treatments at Soul Solutions.

Penny Davey MBRCP KFRP TFT (Alg)
Penny has had a life-long interest in health and nutrition, and over the years has explored many different complementary therapies. After curing her hay fever with alternative medicine, she decided to train as a complementary health practitioner. After studying homeopathy for a couple of years, Penny went on to complete the four-year Professional Kinesiology Practice (PKP) course, qualifying as a Kinesiology Practitioner in 2004. Since then, she has continued to take a variety of courses, including anatomy and physiology, Touch for Health, Thought Field Therapy, flower essences, crystal healing and essential oils. She has also trained as a K-PowerŪ Instructor, teaching 13 one- and two-day workshops, covering a range of subjects such as testing and correcting groups of muscles, stress release techniques, Tibetan Healing Energy, face-reading, co-dependency and New Zealand Flower Essences. Penny is a member of the Institute of Complementary Medicine, is a Senior Practitioner and Member of the British Register of Complementary Practitioners and is a member of the Kinesiology Federation. She also gives talks to various groups, associations and companies, such as the WI, Association of Crohn's & Colitis, Women in International Trade, Women in Business and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
