Neurological change therapy

This therapy is ideal for anyone who wants to change their mindset, emotional reactions and behaviour responses. No matter what you are struggling with, Charlotte can help where psychological issues are present.
Charlotte specialises in change, working directly with your subconscious, bypassing conscious awareness creating new loops and new neural pathways to create the new desired responses/reactions.
Our responses and reactions are what our subconscious brain has learnt from younger years and continues to digest information when just about anything new is encountered in our daily lives. When the subconscious receives new information and recognises any familiarities about what's currently happening or unfolding in front of us, it will then pull a response from stored information using the same neural pathway that has already been learned from a previous event in our life. Unfortunately, that part of the brain has no rational thought and is designed to keep us safe (which may not always be helpful to us), and if that response kept us alive during the original event, then the same response will be deployed again.
This could be a positive or a negative reaction even if the current event we consciously know is fine and safe. Charlotte will work directly with your subconscious so together you create new patterns and neural pathways to create your desired responses or reactions and once therapy has finished, you will have a new programme for the subconscious brain to use.
Charlotte offers a type of coaching method which helps inner conflict with clarity of the mind and guidance and knowledge to help you become the best version of you.
Just a few things I can help with:

Anxiety/stress

Weight loss/emotional relationship with food

Self-confidence/worth issues

Motivation/goal achieving

Success inhibition/transition/career progression

Counselling . couns

Counselling

Counselling is about providing a confidential space where no-one else can listen or intrude, where you can talk with someone without fear of judgement or criticism of whatever you wish to talk about. The counsellor will provide an understanding and empathic relationship in which we can find a way of resolving those difficulties that prevent you from feeling better than you do at the moment.

The problems and difficulties that can beset any of us, that bother or annoy us or that make us think, feel or act in ways that hurt us or those close to us, may be caused by something quite recent or maybe by something in the distant past. Sometimes it can be both and, whether past or present, some things that happen to us can be very disturbing, even traumatising. This is where therapeutic counselling steps in, to help in understanding and possibly even finding a way of resolving the difficulties that hold us back or drag us down.

Counselling . couples

Couples/Relationship Counselling )

Counselling can be very effective as a way of improving our closest and most intimate relationships. As well as supporting people who have a shared goal of staying together in a more satisfying way, counselling can also support those who have decided to separate, and wish to do this in the least damaging way for all affected.

It is the role of the couples/relationship counsellor to create a safe space where partners are able to speak freely and with the confidence that they will each be respected, listened to and understood, by both the therapist and their partner or partners.

Counselling . nlp

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)

Neuro refers to your neurology; Linguistic refers to language; programming refers to how that neural language functions. In other words, learning NLP is like learning the language of your own mind
NLP can be used for personal development, phobias, and anxiety. Using perceptual, behavioural, and communication techniques to make it easier for people to change their thoughts and actions

Counselling . psycho

Psychotherapy

The term psychotherapy ‘covers a range of approaches and methods. These range from one-to-one talking sessions to therapies that use techniques such as art, role-play or dance to help explore people’s emotions.
Some therapists work with couples, families or groups whose members share similar problems. Psychotherapy can also be provided for adolescents and children as well as adults

Counselling . emdr

EMDR

A unique, powerful therapy that helps people recover from problems triggered by traumatic events in their lives. It stops difficult memories causing so much distress by helping the brain to reprocess them properly.
It is a therapy used to help people recover from distressing events and the problems they have caused, like flashbacks, upsetting thoughts or images, depression or anxiety.

Counselling . meditation

Mindfulness Group

Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing on one’s awareness on the present moment, whilst calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts and physical sensations.
It is not only useful when you are stressed or unwell, it can help us all to enjoy a more wakeful healthy happy life. Sessions will include: learning to meditate, relaxation techniques, guided meditations, mindfulness for stress, anxiety, sleep and pain management, and more

Counselling . eft

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

EFT is a form of psychological acupressure, based on the same energy meridians used in traditional acupuncture to treat physical and emotional ailments but without the invasiveness of needles.
Instead, simple tapping with the fingertips is used to input kinetic energy onto specific meridians on the head and chest while you think about your specific problem — whether it is a traumatic event, an addiction, pain, etc. — and voice positive affirmations. This combination of tapping the energy meridians and voicing positive affirmation works to clear the "short-circuit" — the emotional block — from your body's bioenergy system, thus restoring your mind and body's balance, which is essential for optimal health and the healing of physical disease.

Counselling . cbt

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT stresses the role of thinking in how we feel and what we do. It is based on the belief that thoughts, rather than people or events, cause our negative feelings.
The therapist assists the client in identifying, testing the reality of, and correcting dysfunctional beliefs underlying his or her thinking. The therapist then helps the client modify those thoughts and the behaviours that. flow from them. CBT is a structured collaboration between therapist and client and often calls for homework assignments
